Coker Tire Celebrates 60th Anniversary in 2018
60 years. A milestone that brings us back to our humble beginnings, as a simple tire and service center. Harold Coker had high expectations for his business back in 1958, but he couldve never imagined it growing into the worlds largest supplier of tires and wheels for collector vehicles. Although Harold passed away in 2014, his influence is still a major motivator at Coker Tire Company, and its our goal to carry on his legacy. Coker Anniversary In 1974 Harolds son, Corky Coker, joined the family business and its his vision and dedication that took it to the next level. With trusted employees by his side, Corky traveled the world acquiring original molds to discontinued classic tires in order to bring them back in limited supply. Corkys passion inspired new product developments, manufacturing processes and licensing agreements with respected companies such as Firestone, BF Goodrich and Michelin that made the Coker Tire name a worldwide brand. Coker Anniversary Corky Coker continues to be a visionary, and in 2014 he turned over the reigns of the company to Coker Group President, Wade Kawasaki. Wade also serves as Chairman of the Board of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and is a passionate car guy with a collection of his own. He is committed to serving the hobby by continuing to provide authentic tires and wheels that enhance the look and increase the value of collector vehicles, so we can enjoy driving our cars for many years to come. Coker Anniversary Here at Coker Tire we are all car enthusiasts committed to the collector vehicle hobby. Whether you have done business with us in the past, or plan to buy tires or wheels from us in the future, we appreciate your support.
