Day 8 Photo Highlights from the 2018 Great Race
We're so close to the finish we can almost taste it! Actually, we're staying in Halifax, Nova Scotia tonight, as it's right across the bay from this evening's hosted stop in Dartmouth. Tomorrow we will finish the Great Race at the Waterfront Warehouse in downtown Halifax! With awesome water views and lots of tension in the air, the crowd will be at full attention when its time for the Great Racers to cross the finish line. Whether or not they win their division, the real thrill of the Great Race is crossing the finish line. Today, we started in Moncton, New Brunswick, and crossed over into Truro, Nova Scotia for a very well attended lunch stop. Then, the racers had a tricky route in the Nova Scotia farm land, looping around to the same intersection three times throughout the afternoon. Finally, we rolled into Dartmouth for the Day 8 evening stop. There was a big shake up in the overall standings today, and it sent John and Scott Hudson to the top of the leader board. Gary and Jean Ann Martin (team Coker Tire) slid back to 7th place overall, but they are still in the top 5 for their division. Let's get some rest, and then see how it all plays out tomorrow!
