SEMA 2016 -- Tri-Five Nationals Give-Away 1957 Chevy Gasser
Tri-Five Chevys are super hot right now, and we were so excited to see the Tri-Five Nationals pop up a couple years ago in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Our buddy, Chris Sondles from Woody's Hot Rodz is responsible for organizing the Tri-Five Nationals, and he has a great crew to help him knock it out of the park every year. One of the biggest attractions for the Tri-Five Nationals (aside from the 2,000-plus Tri-Fives) is the Give-Away car. Last year, it was a very cool '55 Chevy, which we featured here on the Coker Tire blog. Then, for 2016, it was a high tech '56 Chevy. For 2017, we're proud to announce that Woody's Hot Rodz built an incredible 1957 Chevy gasser. This thing is nuts! SEMA 2016 The car is built using a brand new steel body from Woody's and a new gasser chassis from No Limit. It has a legit fiberglass front end from a '60s drag car, no front bumper and a crazy paint job with custom hand-lettered signage. It's powered by a Hilborn-injected 502ci big block Chevy with massive fenderwell headers that sing a lovely tune according to Chris Sondles. The blue tinted windows, the patriotic tach mounted to the dash and the roll bar offer lots of '60s flavor and we're HUGE fans of the stance. Part of the sky high stance is a set of our tires...they are Firestone 7.10-15 fronts and Firestone 10.00-15 Dragster cheater slicks. The blackwall bias ply tires are mounted to big and little Keystone wheels. "The All American" is going on a West Coast tour that will include a photo shoot with Street Rodder magazine, and several shows, including the Grand National Roadster Show. Then, after it makes its rounds on the show circuit, it will be given away at the Tri-Five Nationals in August 2017. You gotta be there for your chance to win! For now, step back to 1967 and enjoy this wild big block '57 Chevy gasser! SEMA 2016 SEMA 2016 SEMA 2016 SEMA 2016 SEMA 2016 SEMA 2016
