Firestone led the way with its revolutionary Non-Skid tire, which was produced in all-black and all-white form.

Coker Tire is now offering Firestone Non-Skid tires to fit many Brass Era applications. Coker Tire stepped in by acquiring Firestone’s original drawings and molds, and refurbishing them to meet the criteria for today’s standards in tire manufacturing. By using original drawings and molds, it makes Firestone Non-Skid tires the most accurate and authentic high-pressure tires on the market. Coker Tire offers 10 sizes, all of which feature the unmistakable Non-Skid tread pattern and smooth sidewall. All sizes, excluding the 35x5 and 37x5 feature a six-ply nylon cord construction, which offers a load capacity of over 1,000 pounds per tire, when inflated to 60-65psi, depending on the particular tire’s requirements. The 35x5 and 37x5 feature an eight-ply nylon construction, which increases the load capacity 1,803 pounds per tire at an inflation of 70psi.

The variety of sizing makes these tires versatile for many automobiles produced from 1905 to 1924, depending on make and model. While the all-black version of the Firestone Non-Skid has been on the market for a few years, Coker Tire is proud to announce that all-white Non-Skid tires are now in production. All-white tires have been absent from production for several years, and it’s created quite a demand, so Coker Tire is excited to announce its expansion of the Non-Skid product line.
