Firestone ANS Motorcycle tires were part of Firestone's "A Tire for Every Riding Condition" ad campaign in the 1940s. This 500-16 size fits many American motorcycles from the '50s, '60s and '70s. The All Non-Skid tire was an instant favorite, outperforming many competitors of that time. The Firestone ANS has become iconic on vintage motorcycles through the years, and has even become extremely popular for custom motorcycle builds more recently. Coker Tire Company proudly offers the legendary Firestone ANS Motorcycle tire in popular 16-, 18- and 19-inch sizes. The tires feature authentic tread design and sidewall markings.

Please Note

  • Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Please note that dimensions listed (tread width, section width and overall diameter) are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted to a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure.

Question:
hi, Your tire #73225. Under specs it says "recommended rim is 3 inches". Will the tire work on a 2.5 rim? Tx
By Robert Weaver on September 23, 2018
Answer:

Mounting on a narrower rim than recommended may result in the tire bulging, less than ideal tread wear, and the possibility of the tire dismounting while in motion.
